There are many ways to contribute to the Modern Merchant project.

• Be a core developer
• Create plugins (to plugins documentation)
• Write documentation (contact us)
• Donate money (to project donations via SourceForge.net)

Core Developers

The core development team has write access to the project's SVN repository, and can therefore make changes to the project's code base. Changes are subject to review.

Developers who are interested in joining the core team should notify a member of the core team. During an initial probationary period, the developer may submit patches to core team for inclusion into the code base. Inclusion of patches is subject to review and approval.

At the conclusion of the probationary period, the core team will vote on whether the developer should become part of the team. If the vote passes, the developer will be given write access to the repository.
